THE BRAZILIAN CARIBBEAN

The clearest waters in Brazil are in Arraial do Cabo, known for its white sands. The city was discovered in 1503 by Américo Vespucci, where the Tamoios Indians lived. Its emancipation was only in 1985 by Leonel Brizola. In addition, in 1506, the Nossa Senhora dos Remedies Church was built, where the first mass in Brazil was held indoors.
